GDPR

The protection of your personal data is important to us. We keep your personal data confidential and according to the national data protection laws and in particular in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In order to minimize the extent to which personal data are collected and processed, MODALIS² refrains from collecting and storing personal data and does not use cookies or external data tracking tools, such as Google Analytics. Hence, you can visit our website without providing any personal information.

However, to ensure the technical operational of the website (e.g. for investigating system errors) and for security reasons (e.g. to prevent or counter cyberattacks on our website), automatically generated server logs are stored for one week in the system of our webhoster. These logfiles include the IP address, date and time of access, browser type and version, the requested web pages or files and the amount of data transmitted. This information is not used for any other purpose and is deleted completely after seven days.

The MODALIS² website offers for security reasons TLS encryption (Transport Layer Security). An encrypted connection is indicated in the address bar of the browser by beginning with https:// and a “lock” icon.

In case you are asked to provide personal data on our website, it is voluntary and we will explicitly ask for your consent. Such data is never made accessible to any third party without your explicit consent.

We further inform you that transmitting data over the Internet in general (e.g. sending emails) may be exposed to security risks. A complete protection from any third party access to your data cannot be guaranteed.
